Dave is actively engaged with local community organizations including the Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation, Run with Carl Memorial Race, and the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary Club. He and his family are also active members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bettendorf.

Dave and his wife, Kathy, have four grown children and eight grandchildren. Watching the grandkids participate in softball, theater, baseball, football, and volleyball keep them busy. When he’s not chasing after grandkids and attending their many activities, he enjoys biking, golfing, and fishing.
