Scott’s steady and deliberate journey of examining information to deepen his understanding is a daily process that energizes him. With judgement rarely clouded by personal feelings or opinions, he simply considers the evidence and studies the facts when working to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
Scott developed his work ethic while growing up on a farm in west Davenport. His first job was collecting eggs, cleaning them, and packaging them for sale. As the farm transitioned from one generation to the next, chickens were replaced with hogs. The days got longer and the work got harder. Now the farm transitions once again to the next generation. In his spare time, when not planting or harvesting, Scott helps repair and preserve the historic buildings that still sit on the family farm.
Scott and his wife Amy are enjoying their lives as empty nesters. Combined, they have four boys, two girls, and 5 grandchildren. Jessica is a master stylist and lives in Davenport with her husband Gregg and daughter Alina. Justin owns a trucking company in Northwest Iowa and dabbles in real estate. Jacob is a realtor and plans on working with Justin to build a real estate business. Joshua lives with his family in Bettendorf and works in the food service industry. Luke lives in Davenport and works for a local sales and marketing company. Holly works with special needs individuals and is the cheerleading coach at Drake University.
